There Are Reasons for Everything
I believe everything happens for a reason and a purpose, and it serves me. I all have the ability to focus on what is possible and what positive results can stem from a negative situation. No matter what others think of the situation, I think in terms of possibilities. If we believe in limits then we will create limited beliefs. Life is about taking chances and learning from each situation, even if it does not always go the way we expect it to. There is meaning to every event that happens in my life and I look for the meaning behind every single one even if it was a terrible situation. I don’t want to sound like I never let an event control me, because I have many times, but I decided a long time ago instead of focusing on the negative what can I learn from this? Was the meaning? If I let every environment control the way I feel, it would cause many problems and I do not want to live like that. For example, I remember reading this story about this man who was in a serious accident and the outcome of it was not delightful. He was paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life, but did he let that determine how he felt for the rest of his life. No he actually knows more success and joy than most people experience in a life time, because he communicated with himself in a positive way. “The mind is its own place, and in it self can make Heav’n of Hell, a Hell of Heav’n.”- John Molton
