An "L" of a ride!

Last night I took a journey on the red line to Wrigleyville to my friends rehearsal. I stayed for a while but I had to come back a bit early. I walked to the Fullerton station and hoped on the red line for home. It was a bit late so you never know what you could possibly see on your journey. As I walked onto the train I saw what looked like a homeless man laying in both seats sleeping. As I studied him and listened to my ipod. Here was the story I came up with for him.

He was a man who grew up in Chicago and has lived here for his entire life. He went to high school and started to attend college but soon found out that college wasn't for him. He dropped out and began to try to search for work. He couldn't find much work except as part time at McDonald's. While at McDonald's he began getting into problems with drugs and alcohol. That is all he wanted to do was drugs and alcohol. He ended up coming to work either high or drunk almost everyday and dealing drugs out of work that he was fired. He tried to find a different job but he could never get one because of the problems that he had at McDonald's. He ended up not having any money at all and living on the streets of Chicago begging for money. This money he would use to buy alcohol and drugs. When it gets to cold he would find many different places that he would go to sleep where it was warm. One of these places was the CTA trains. He doesnt know were his siblings are. He had two sisters but they both abandoned him once he started having these problems and his parents had both died.

This man will never be the same. He has devoted his entire life to doing drugs and drinking. It is very sad. He is a very unhappy person and will probably never live an ideal life.
