Before I start, I just want to say that the cat is super cute! And I hope that what I write is what you are looking for because I was a bit confused...Ok here it goes.
I have always loved to write. For me it is just a way that I can free myself and discuss things that may be on my mind. However when it comes to grammar, I am not always the best. For me my biggest problem that I have with grammar is knowing where to put punctuation marks. Especially commas. I remember back to sophomore year of high school in my English class we did a whole section on where to put commas and to this day I still struggle with it. There are so many different places that you can put a comma but I never seem to know were. For example in the sentence "I went to the store to buy cookies but found out they were out." You would put the comma after the word cookies. According to my research you would use that comma because it sets off the introductory elements. There are many different reasons for using commas which are all very confusing to me.
I remember one of my biggest problems when I was growing up was my horrible spelling and sentence structure. To this day I still feel that my sentence structure is not the best. I remember writing in class and my spelling was absolutely horrible and my sentences just didn't make any sense. I was put into the special writing and reading classes at school were I would go one on one with another teacher and we would do spelling and writing exercises. They were quite boring and I felt quite stupid but I got through them. I know feel a lot more confident with my writing and my grammar and am ready to take on the world of writing!
