Growing Up Online

This video was about kids and teenagers and how all they do is devote themselves to the internet, phones, and video-games. When I was looking and listening to this video, I found myself kind of on the fence about it. I disagree with it because I mean I think that it's the only thing available for us to really use, and besides in college that's how you get your homework done. I also disagree because despite popular belief, there are some educational sites and games for kids to play and learn and it's not all bad. I agree with it because I do think there's more to life other than the internet and that you should do other stuff. I think you should exercise and be outside more and not just sit up in the house on the computer. I also agree because I don't think that you should play video games 24/7 all the time either, I think there's more to life than video games. There is a lot of good that can come out of it though. For example if you get into a fight with your mom maybe playing video games or getting on the internet will be a stress-reliever for them. Maybe they don't want to talk to their friends, so instead maybe they can just text them because maybe it's very convenient. So I just think that people need to look at the big picture before they start judging, and look at it from a different perspective.
